FALL BALL

September – November

Mondays, Tuesdays: Practice at Triple Play Complex – Evenings (2 groups: 18U + 17U)

Sundays: Doubleheaders at Franklin Ranch and other venues in North Texas (2 groups)

Purpose: Repetition on-field in practice and games, leading to high level competence

Learn how to play the game; learn the process of winning

Situation offense: hitting, short game, base running
Situation defense: positioning, fielding, throwing, decision making, making plays
Situation pitching: pitching to defense, controlling running game, assignments
Playing with game-requirement tempo
Understanding and executing individual roles
Communication
Handling pressure:making decisions and executing in tough circumstances

November - December

Indoor Work – Sundays

Purpose: Repetition in a controlled environment toward hitting, pitching and catching readiness for high school season playability

January – May

Indoor Work (optional) – Sundays

Purpose: Tune-ups and remedial work to help the players succeed at their schools

June – July + August

16 -17U: Practice on the field one day a week; weekend BVR, V Tool, and PG tournaments (Jun-Jul)

College based Prospect Camps , Head First camps, and individual showcases, (Aug)

18U: Specific practice and game schedule to prepare for college fall baseball
